SYMBiOTE, a magazine about human relations to the environment, was an experimental project that I designed as part of a publications class. The main article is "Snow Science Against the Avalanche", which features pictures of snowy mountains, abstract geometric snowflakes, and an abundance of caution tape. Working on this project taught me many valuable skills including image manipulation, brand identity, and content structure. I also made a promotional image for social media use. It features a photo I took of a blue heron in a park to reinforce the magazine's voice as a proponent of the environment.
